Lease an IPv4 block from InterLIR Global and use it on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure via BYOIP. Keep the same public IP space for supported OCI workloads while retaining control over reputation, portability, and provider choice.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure BYOIP lets you import your own publicly routable IPv4 address ranges into your OCI tenancy. Once imported, those prefixes are advertised via BGP and assigned to your VCN resources — but they belong to you, carry no additional OCI IP charges, and can be moved back out at any time.
The process involves submitting a BYOIP request in the OCI console, providing an authorization key, and completing ROA validation. InterLIR Global provides the LOA documentation, RPKI/ROA support, and can add the required verification data to WHOIS records on your behalf — guiding your team through each step.
Oracle Cloud requires a minimum prefix size of /24 and supports both IPv4 and IPv6 ranges. Imported prefixes are regionally scoped, making them available for allocation within a specific OCI region.
Full Oracle Cloud BYOIP requirementsAssign BYOIP addresses to OCI Compute instances as reserved public IPs, maintaining a stable, known IP for each workload across reboots and migrations.
Use BYOIP addresses on OCI Load Balancers and NLBs for stable internet-facing endpoints — without cycling through provider-assigned IPs.
Import your prefix into a VCN and allocate addresses across subnets for full control over routing, security lists, and multi-region architectures.
Attach BYOIP addresses to OKE cluster load balancers, ensuring consistent ingress IPs for Kubernetes workloads across deployments.
Route outbound traffic from private subnets through a NAT Gateway using your BYOIP addresses — preserving your IP reputation for outbound requests.
Full IP reputation control across APIs, email, and services
Portable — move back out of OCI any time
